For more than 30 years, Dumouchel Meat & Deli has been Ottawa's family-run butcher shop — the kind of place where the person behind the counter knows your name and how you like your steaks cut. What started years ago has grown into a neighbourhood fixture at 351 Donald Street, where the Dumouchel family has kept the same simple promise all along: honest, hand-cut meat and service that feels like visiting friends.
Every day, our butchers hand-cut AA and AAA Western Beef, fresh Ontario pork, and fresh poultry right in the shop — no shortcuts, no pre-packaged mystery cuts. We also prepare BBQ Roast Pork, BBQ Chicken, and Roast Beef in-house daily with our own spice blend, along with homemade Tourtières and Ragoût de pattes de cochon (pork hocks) made from family recipes.
Beyond meat, we carry St-Albert cheese and curds delivered fresh daily, assorted deli meats, and ready-to-go meals — so a real home-cooked dinner is never far away. Around the holidays, we take orders for fresh turkey and ham for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and Easter — many families have been ordering their holiday turkey from us for years.
